I am a trained SNA and have worked in a specialist language unit with children with dyslexia. I also worked with a very special boy with Down's Syndrome and also many children who were diagnosed with Autism. The other string to my bow is that I have lots of studies undertaken in holistic therapies, including nutrition, massage and also have a degree in linguistics. I am a very bubbly person but also know how to manage my own energy around children and create a very safe environment for them to learn through. I also make sure to make it fun! It's so important to that they do not feel judged and I believe that allowing them to be and express who they are is something that is really important. I lost my special needs job in the recession of 2007 and had to go into another area of work out of necessity.
