My name is Lidênia, I'm 40 years old and I'm Brazilian. In Dublin I am an English student, but in Brazil I was a teacher for 10 years, a profession that helped shape the human being that I am today. I worked in needy neighborhoods in the city of Fortaleza. Where many students experienced family, financial problems and lived in a total lack of perspective. The classroom was often the only opportunity to improve in life and the teacher was the only person able to make them believe that life could change through study and work. I grew up in a family of four. My parents are in Brazil. They are simple people who have educated their children in the best way possible. They have erred and been right in our education, but wanting our good and trying to form in us a character of good people. I can say that my parents have achieved their life goal, because our family is united and all children are honest people. In my free time I like to surf the internet, watch movies, documentaries, sleep, talk to my family and friends, but I also like to meet them in a pub, movie or restaurant. I also like the healthy lifestyle, I go to the gym or I go hiking to keep the body and mind healthy. What I like best about me is perseverance, the courage to start over, joy and determination. One thing I want to cultivate is wisdom and empathy. Working as an au pair in Ireland gives me an immersion in a new culture, language and unique habits that only those who have lived can talk about and this reason associated with my training as a teacher made me want to be au pair. I already have reference as au pair in ireland and I am looking for another family, because the children that I took care of are in extracurricular activities and there was no more need and a childminder. My sister was also au pair in the United States and this was very important in her professional and personal life. If there is opportunity I want my new family to be another important experience for me.
