Hello there, Thanks for looking at my page. My name is Susan. I am mum to a 22-month old little boy and I am looking to take on one or two similar-aged children part-time. I have a Masters in Education (primary teaching) and I have worked with children in some capacity throughout my career. I am also a baker and make cakes and cupcakes, mainly for children’s birthdays, on the side. Our home is a welcoming, fun, educational and warm space with elements of Montessori philosophy throughout to facilitate my son’s growth and I would love to have some other children to grow along with him. I have experience working with children of all ages through childminding, babysitting, primary school teaching, summer camp work and volunteering, both as a leader with the Irish Girl Guides and in homework and weekend clubs with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. I am passionate, hard-working, and enthusiastic about caring for, educating and working with children of all ages. I have been Garda Vetted many times and I have also completed First Aid and Child and Vulnerable Adult protection trainings. I am particularly interested in Art, Drama and Literacy, as well as ensuring that every child, no matter their background or ability, has the opportunity to reach their own potential.
