Hi there! My name is Alyssa McEwen, and I am available for work as a nanny, childminder, babysitter, etc. I have extensive experience working with and caring for children, ages 1-10. From facilitating and working overnight summer camps, caring for special needs children placed in 24/7 care, nannying for toddlers-- I have experienced a decent range of behaviours, personalities, activity levels, and differing needs and abilities. I have a NFQ level 8 in Psychology, and am currently enrolled in my NFQ level 9 in Counselling Psychology. My approach to childcare heavily emphasizes relational care, strengths-based play, and hands-on activities and tasks.
