Hi! I'm Laura, and I have many years of experience caring for children and supporting families. I'm a warm, patient, reliable and caring person who genuinely enjoys helping children feel safe, happy and comfortable being themselves. Alongside my childcare experience, I have recently completed my degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. This has given me a deeper understanding of children's emotional needs, the importance of secure relationships, and how to create a calm, supportive environment where children feel listened to, understood and encouraged to grow. I love getting to know each child's individual personality and finding ways to make their days enjoyable, whether that's through play, creativity, outdoor activities or simply being a consistent, reassuring presence in their routine. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident that their children are in safe, capable and caring hands, and I always aim to build positive, trusting relationships with the families I work with. I'm organised, responsible and attentive, and I understand the importance of maintaining routines while also allowing children the freedom to explore, learn and have fun.
