Hi! My name is Maria, and I'm currently looking for a babysitting opportunity in Dublin. ❤️ I have experience caring for children aged 3 and above, and I have always been very involved in caring for children throughout my life. I have more than six young cousins, and I also have a 3-year-old goddaughter who lives with me, which has given me valuable, hands-on experience with the daily routine and needs of a young child. In addition to my family experience, I also spent three years volunteering with children in schools and childcare centres. This experience taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, communication, creativity, and, most importantly, the importance of respecting each child's individual personality, needs and pace of development. I would describe myself as very patient, responsible, caring, fun, organised, friendly and empathetic. I always try to create an environment where children feel safe, comfortable and cared for. At the same time, I understand the importance of routines and setting boundaries in a kind and respectful way. I can help with different parts of a child's daily routine, including preparing meals, mealtimes, bathing, bedtime routines, playtime, educational activities and supporting their development. I really enjoy turning everyday moments into opportunities for children to learn, have fun and become more independent. Portuguese is my native language, and I am currently taking an English course here in Dublin, so I am very motivated to continue improving my English while working and building a trusting relationship with the family. I am available from 1pm onwards and I am someone who takes responsibility very seriously. For me, babysitting is not simply about supervising a child. It is about being present, providing safety, attention and affection, and making sure the child feels happy and comfortable while their parents are away. I believe my experience with children, both within my family and through my work in schools and childcare centres, has helped me become confident in caring for children with different personalities, needs and routines.
