I am a fully qualified primary teacher with a Master’s in Education and I am fluent in Irish. I currently work on a primary school supply panel, which includes two Gaelscoileanna, giving me regular experience working through Irish and supporting children in a Gaelscoil setting. I also have a background in healthcare, which has developed my communication, patience and ability to respond calmly and sensitively to each child’s individual needs. I have experience working with children with additional needs and understand the importance of adapting teaching approaches to suit different learning styles, abilities and confidence levels. I am Garda vetted, have my own transport and am comfortable travelling to a child’s home. I would aim to create a positive, supportive and encouraging learning environment, while building the child’s confidence and helping them to make meaningful progress with their learning.
