I believe I would be a good childminder because I am a caring, responsible and patient person who genuinely enjoys working with children. I have experience caring for and working with children, which has helped me develop strong communication skills and understand the importance of creating a safe, positive and supportive environment. I am currently going into my final year of studying Social Justice in UCD, which has given me a strong understanding of different backgrounds, individual needs and the importance of treating everyone with kindness, respect and equality. My studies have also helped me become a good listener and understand the importance of supporting children’s wellbeing and development. I am reliable, trustworthy and willing to take responsibility. I understand that every child is different, and I would make sure each child feels comfortable, valued and cared for while in my care.
