Although I don't have professional experience as a caregiver/many, I looked after my grandmother for about one year while she was terminally ill. I assisted her with personal hygiene, cleaned and dressed her wounds, administered her medication, accompanied her to medical appointments, prepared her meals, and provided companionship. Being there for her during such an important time was a deeply meaningful experience, and I was proud to be someone she always felt comfortable and happy with.
