I have always been a caring, patient and responsible person, and looking after others is something I genuinely enjoy. Over the past three years, I worked as a Healthcare Assistant in Ireland, providing compassionate care and support to elderly clients. This experience taught me the importance of empathy, patience, responsibility and creating a safe, trusting environment for those in my care. My passion for caring extends to children. I have helped care for my nephews and nieces from a young age and have also looked after children for families in Brazil. Since moving to Ireland, I have occasionally cared for a 1-year-old boy and a 4-month-old baby, which has strengthened my confidence in supporting children of different ages and adapting to each family's routine. I have a genuine interest in children's development and believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued and encouraged to learn through play, creativity and positive interactions. I enjoy engaging with children through age-appropriate activities, reading, outdoor play and helping them develop independence while always respecting their individual needs.
