Hello! My name is Fleur. I am a Dutch woman currently living in Athlone, and I will be turning 22 this month. I hold a Level 5 qualification in Early Learning and Care, am Garda vetted through my current childcare role, and speak English fluently (C1 level EF SET certificate). I have experience working with children through babysitting, my college placement, and my current role as a summer cover educator in a professional early years setting. Most of my experience has been with preschool and primary school-aged children, although I have worked with different age groups in early years. I am still relatively new to the childcare field professionally, but I am learning a lot and genuinely enjoy working with children. I would describe myself as caring, patient, creative, and empathetic. I enjoy building positive relationships with children, supporting their learning through play, and encouraging creativity and outdoor activities. In my free time, I enjoy photography, exploring nature, travelling, history, museums, fitness, reading, and creating a cosy home environment. I also enjoy arts & crafts and outdoor adventures. I have a full driving licence and my own car, so I would be happy to do school pick-ups or outings to parks, libraries, museums, and other activities if desired. I am also comfortable around pets and happy to help with light household tasks related to childcare. I am currently working in Athlone for the summer, and my contract finishes in mid-September. I am planning to relocate to Sligo and am looking for a kind and welcoming family with whom I can build a positive and trusting relationship.
