Experienced nanny and former au pair with several years of childcare experience in the United States, caring for infants, toddlers, and school-age children. I started helping with childcare and summer courses when I was 13 years old, mainly working with children between 1 and 8 years old. Over time, my experience became more focused on infant care and child development. I worked as an au pair for two years with the same family, caring for three children. During that time, I helped care for their youngest daughter from her very first day as a newborn, spending around 8 hours a day with her and supporting her daily routines and development as she grew into a toddler. Her older siblings were 3 and 5 years old when I arrived. In addition, I cared for one baby from 3 months old for almost a year, and another baby from 4 months old for around 6 months, both in the United States. Before becoming an au pair, I completed training in child safety, first aid, and child development, including coursework focused on infants and children under 2 years old. I studied Languages (linguistics), where some of my coursework included teaching and child language development. This sparked a strong interest in how children learn, communicate, and develop through everyday interaction, play, and emotional connection. I would describe myself as patient, caring, responsible, and attentive. I enjoy creating a safe, calm, and positive environment where children feel supported, understood, and free to grow and express themselves.
