Hello families, My name is Bárbara, I am from Brazil and currently living in Dublin, Ireland. I am a responsible, caring, and positive person who truly enjoys working with children and being part of family life. I have several years of experience caring for children from 6 months up to 12 years old. In Ireland, I previously worked with two lovely children aged 2 and 5, and I am currently working as a childminder for a 6-year-old child providing after-school care from Monday to Wednesday. I also do occasional babysitting, which has given me experience with children of different ages and personalities. I love spending time outdoors with children and enjoy activities that they also love, such as going to parks, nature walks, cycling, swimming, and playing games in the garden. I am a strong swimmer and comfortable supervising children during water activities. I also enjoy creative activities like arts and crafts, drawing, storytelling, and imaginative play. I am patient, calm, and supportive, and I always try to create a safe, happy, and engaging environment for children. In my daily work, I help with routines such as getting ready for school, meals and snacks, playtime, and bedtime. I also encourage children to tidy their spaces, explore their creativity, and enjoy active and fun learning experiences. I currently attend English classes in the mornings as part of my visa requirements, as I do not have a European passport. I have a full driver’s license from my home country and more than 10 years of driving experience, and I used to have my own car. I would just need to understand how the process works in Ireland regarding insurance or transferring my license. I am available to start from April or May this year, and I am happy to relocate to another city in Ireland for the right family.
