Hi! My name is Clodagh. I am 23 years old and from Cork! I have been child minding and babysitting for a few years now in Sligo, and I have just received my bachelors in Psychology and English in ATU Sligo. In my course, I learned a huge amount about child development. This ranged from how children regulate, to how they interpret the world. I also have been volunteering at Sligo Hospital since March 2025 as a play volunteer in the paedeatric ward. I went through specialised training that focused on hygiene with children, a child's safety and more (all HSE/AMRIC certified, all certificates available upon request). To volunteer with Sligo Hospital for their Children in Hospital programme I needed two relevant references, as well as getting Garda Vetted under the HSE. Additionally, in ATU I have volunteered as part of the WAVE project. This programme helps adults with special needs and a range of disabilities. As well as working with children with special needs in the past, these experiences have helped me learn the patience and understanding you must have to care for anyone, disability or not. Furthermore, I am TEFL certified in Mindfulness & Yoga for Early Childhood Educators (certificate available upon request). This short course focused on how to teach yoga to children in an accessible way. If you are interested in having me mind your child, do not hesitate to contact me! I charge €16 an hour, and am available most times with notice. For every additional child over the age of 9 months, I charge an extra euro. For every additional child over the age of 3 years, I charge an extra flat rate of €2. For any additional services, such as light housekeeping, cleaning or cooking, additional negotiable fees apply. Had Clodagh mind my two young ones when the Husband and I had a date night. I could not recommend her enough. She played and read with them. They girls were wrecked when we got home, all from the fun! Worth every penny 😊
