Hi, my name is Ruth Andia. I’m Bolivian and have been living in Dublin for a couple of years. My interest in elderly care began when I took care of my grandfather in Bolivia, which taught me the importance of providing compassionate and personalized support. In Dublin, I worked in a care home in the kitchen department, where I had the opportunity to interact with residents—an experience I truly enjoyed. This inspired me to take a Healthcare course, where I enhanced my knowledge in personal care, workplace safety, and supporting the elderly. I believe I can bring great value to this position thanks to my previous experience, my training in Healthcare, and my skills such as patience, empathy, and a strong willingness to learn. Additionally, I hold certifications in First Aid, Manual Handling, and Food Safety, which demonstrate my ability to deliver safe and high-quality care.
