I am studying community health and social care I am really enjoying this course and it has given me a great opportunity to learn modules on not only how to care for people but also listen and interact with them whilst providing the care they need, I am currently on work placement and work with older adults that have intellectual disabilities my role is to engage in conversation with them bring them out for walks and drives, while preparing lunch and snacks. We also do painting, colouring and mild exercise in the centre I thoroughly enjoy this and have gotten to know each service users within a short space of time. I will always give my best to make sure I provide the best care possible to each individual.
