I took care of my mother for many years. She had kidney problems, where she underwent hemodialysis for 30 years, underwent two transplants where she required a lot of care with food, medicine, etc. She was already elderly and at the age of 65, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Care was increased. Because of this illness she had difficulty eating, which is where I started studying Nutrition to help my mother. It was a long 9 years with this disease where we were able to give her dignity, love and quality of life. I lost my mother two years ago and I developed a passion for this area.
