Hi My name is Mayela, and I’m originally from Venezuela and I have been working as a healthcare assistant since 2018, looking after vulnerable people most of them elderly people improving their quality of life. I now know and understand that a working as a carer can be challenging but at the end of the day it is extremely rewarding. I have QQI level 5 training care skills and care of the elderly people, and I had taken some other training from the HSE as manual handling, children first, the fundamentals of GDPR etc. As a care worker, I have the passion to help people who need my support.
