Hi I’m Maeve! I’m a fun, friendly and responsible 21 year old, passionate about caring for children. I have extensive experience with childcare. I began babysitting for families in my area when I was 13. Since then I have babysat for 20+ families, minding children of all ages from 8 months-16 years. This includes evening babysitting, childcare for full days, and overnight stays. I study dietetics in Trinity College/TUD. I have a particular interest in paediatric dietetics and have completed placement settings in children’s hospital wards and primary care settings across the country. As part of my course I have knowledge regarding children’s health including allergies, weaning, growth, development, and medical issues and am certified in first aid (I also completed a year long lifesaving course aside from college). I am completing a placement in Crumlin Children’s Hospital and have availability from the start of December for full time childminding. In the meantime I am available for weekend and evening babysitting. I particularly love minding babies and toddlers but enjoy minding children of all ages. I have experience childminding in my home as well as the children’s home and am open to both options. I am based between Clontarf and Ballsbridge.
