Hi, I'm Valerie . Having previously looked after both my Mum & Dad, one having frontal lobe dementia and the other with pulmonary fibrosis, I found a great passion for looking after people, especially the most vulnerable in our society. I have worked in nursing homes and gained great experience with personal care but have also seen how important it is to try and keep our loved ones in their own environment for as long as possible. I know how daunting it is to have someone come in and look after your loved one, so hopefully I can ease your mind in that regard. I am currently working part time in a care home in Ballinasloe so am working mornings Tuesday to Thursday and every second Saturday, so I am free afternoons/evenings and all day Monday. I also can clean, do laundry, cook and light fire and any other task that you might require. Feel free to call with any other questions.
