Mixed experience
Julia was warm and caring with our daughter, and until our final day with her we never questioned that she cared about Éabha. Unfortunately, we experienced repeated late starts, several missed days and ongoing issues with reliability and consistency. We also found ourselves needing to repeatedly clarify and reinforce agreed routines, despite discussing them on a number of occasions. Our childcare arrangement ultimately ended following a serious incident where our daughter cried for an extended period after waking from her nap while the baby monitor had been muted. Julia accepted responsibility for what happened and apologised, and we appreciate her honesty. However, after the pattern of issues over the previous weeks, this resulted in us losing confidence in the arrangement. We wish Julia all the best, but based on our experience we could not recommend her for families where reliability, consistency and communication are priorities.
