Hi Families, I'm a nanny with 11 years experience caring for children from 6months. I'm currently studying level 5 childcare and doing work experience in a creche. I am also pregnant with my first baby. At the moment, I am available for casual babysitting at evenings or weekends. From next June 2025 onwards I will be available for nannying or childminding. Nannying - minding in the child's own home, I will be taking my baby with me who will be around 7 months. I will have double buggy and extra car seat if needed. This would benefit both families ecspecially if babies are around the same age. I would love my baby to be around other children so this is why I'm choosing to go back to nannying rather than sending baby to a creche and me myself working in a creche. I loved being a nanny and I know it will be great company for another families child/children. Childminding - minding in my home. I haven't done this yet as I've always been a nanny. If this was something a family would rather (maybe they work from home and prefer children to be out of the house) then this can be arranged. It would be in the family home as me and my partner are hoping to have our own house in 2026. We have a log cabin and also my mother's house where my mother and brother live (both work full time) so I can make it work in either of these places (both in blanchardstown). I will have all the equipment needed to provide a safe, secure and fun enviroment if parents preferred to come to ours. My future goal is to set up a childminding business in my own home down the line which would be like a creche at home, and also for afterschool children if siblings were with me during the day!
