Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. I’ve added what I think is a lengthy but necessary information here on my bio for you to look through so you can get to know me a bit! My name is Rebecca and I’ve a passion for childminding! ✅ A bit about my character: I would describe myself as a fun, enthusiastic, energetic, warm and friendly person! I absolutely love being outdoors and exploring, I also have a passion for art and books! ✅ A bit about my qualifications: I’ve completed a QQI level 5 pre-nursing studies course which comes with occupational first aid training - such as taking temperatures, what to do when faced with dangerous situations like choking or fainting, how to give CPR in all age groups - essential for looking after your little ones. I am also garda vetted and have children’s first training. ✅ A bit about my experience: I have worked as a live in au pair for three children for a year too with a wonderful family in Rathfarmham, Dublin! I have 5 years experience in childminding for various people locally and in places further away. I have a car and a full licence so I can drive your child/children to places if you need me to. I have gained work experience in both a pre-school and primary school settings so I have an understanding of the effort needed to help children learn with homework etc. ✅ A bit more about me: I have also completed a BA Honours degree in English and Psychology at University Sligo, so I have a passion for reading and books - something I bring with me into my childminding! Also, having an understanding of how children’s minds work in my psychology aspect of my degree- this enables me to connect and handle various situations with more ease and competency.
