My name is Mary; I have a Masters in Mathematics with Professional Experience in Research. I believe life is to be spent making a difference in other people's lives, and I believe teaching and tutoring are two such ways a lasting impact on a student's life can be effected. For over 15 years, I have taught and tutored students starting at the elementary/kindergarten level, and have teaching experience at various levels of education from primary, secondary, higher level as well as at university level. My teaching style is a patient and committed one. I will explain and re-explain topics as many times needed until my tutee fully understands what has been taught. I will go through exercises and past question papers with them, set out homework which will be marked and reviewed with my tutee, create mock exams for my tutees, which will also be marked and reviewed, and will maintain a steady follow up of my tutee. My aim is to get my tutee to shine in even the most difficult subjects, to enjoy their education and schooling, and to be confident in the material we cover in each tutoring session.
