Dear host family, My name is Kellen, I am a 27 years old, I’m Brazilian and future Au Pair. I’m a warm and loving nanny with nearly four years of experience working with babies, toddlers and pre-teens. I love helping families relieve daily stress by ensuring their children are cared for with lots of love, care and patience. Also, I love helping children learn and explore in a safe, nurturing and joyful environment. Arts and crafts, age-appropriate cooking and storytelling are some of my favorite activities. I am also a good driver and I cook very well, so I am very happy to provide high quality care to your children! I really enjoyed my time working with children and I miss those moments. I really think it's a gift to see the world through their eyes. I took care of three kids full time a few years ago for the same family. There I took care of 1 amazing boy and 2 girls! When I started, the baby was only 9 months old, one of the girls was 3 years old and the oldest girl was 4 years old. In their routine, I took the girls to school every day and to all kinds of activities, helped with the organization of the house, prepared meals and everything related to them. As we were neighbors, the baby slept at my house from time to time. We became so close that today he is my parents' godson and they have become members of our family. We had a wonderful time together and they became my family too! I decided to be an Au Pair because I am a reliable person, with a lot of experience with children, in addition it has always been my dream to get to know the world better, to immerse myself in a new culture and, of course, to learn a new language. I currently live with my parents María and Junior in a small town called Iturama, located in the state of Minas Gerais and I am moving to Cork soon to study English. I also have an older sister who is married. My family fully supports my dream of becoming an Au Pair! I am a very creative person! I currently work as a contract analyst in a factory. It's a beautiful job that I can work on my creativity, so I love it. I have a fantastic relationship with my boss and co-workers who also support my decision to become an Au Pair. Finally, I would describe myself as an open-minded, polite, patient, outgoing, friendly and very caring person. My family and friends say that I am also very funny. I love to cook, travel and am a very energetic and easy going person!
