As a childminder, I have been described as trustworthy, patient, warm, innovative and a natural caregiver. I have experience caring for many children, including children with autism and learning differences. I enjoy creating a safe, happy and engaging environment where children can feel comfortable, valued and free to be themselves. Ideally, I am available part-time, 2–3 days per week. The kind of family I would love to work with is one who values high-quality, nurturing childcare and wants to feel confident that their children are being cared for by someone kind, dependable and capable. Being away from your children or returning to work can sometimes come with feelings of guilt. My hope is that, when your children are in my care, you can feel reassured that they are not simply being minded, but are being cared for, engaged with and genuinely enjoyed. I love introducing children to a variety of developmental, creative and fun activities. Depending on their age and interests, this might include storytelling, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, nature walks, imaginative play, exploring and much more. I am happy to tidy up after the children and prepare snacks and meals. I do not offer a general cleaning or laundry service. I am also open to a trial period.
