As a childminder I have been described as a dependable, trustworthy, warm, innovative and a natural caregiver. I love children and teens, valuing their creativity and individuality. The ideal family I would like to ‘work’ with - really values high quality childcare. You want to know that your child/children are being taken care of in such a way that you need not feel guilty about being away from them &/or working. Rather you can feel confident knowing that your child is really benefiting from being around another loving and capable adult who cares for them and introduces them to a variety of developmental and fun activities on a daily basis. I love story telling, arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor games, nature walks, imaginative play and much more. I am happy to tidy up after the children and prepare healthy snacks and meals. I do not offer a cleaning or laundry service. I welcome a trial period so we can see if we are a ‘good fit’. Investment (pay) is based on number of hours and children. As a Tutor I have an ability to explain topics in an easy to understand way. I am patient and resourceful with a range of teaching approaches that I can offer depending on the students style of learning and preference. With over 19 years experience in teaching (Registered with the teaching council) I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range learners including those who lack confidence, motivation and/or suffer from stress and anxiety. I have also taught children and young adults with a range of special needs.
