Hello there, Thanks for looking at my page. My name is Susan. I am mum to a 2 year old little boy and I am looking to take on one or two older babies/toddlers part-time. I am open to discussion on days and hours. I have a Masters in Education (primary teaching) and I have worked with children throughout my career. I am also a baker and make cakes and cupcakes, mainly for children’s birthdays, on the side. Our home is a welcoming, fun, educational and warm space with elements of Montessori philosophy throughout to facilitate my son’s growth and I would love to have some other children to grow along with him. I have experience working with children of all ages through childminding, babysitting, primary school teaching, summer camp work and volunteering, both as a leader with the Irish Girl Guides and in homework and weekend clubs with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. I am passionate, hard-working, and enthusiastic about caring for, educating and working with children of all ages. I have been Garda Vetted many times and I have also completed First Aid and Child and Vulnerable Adult protection trainings. I am particularly interested in Art, Drama and Literacy, as well as ensuring that every child, no matter their background or ability, has the opportunity to reach their own potential. Early childhood is a vitally important time in a child’s life and I can provide an environment that will support you, your child and your family during this period.
