Hello! We have three boys aged 11, 10 & 8. We have a really busy house and I have stopped working to be at home with the boys. The big thing for us is that all three boys move at a very different pace and so when two adults are home it enables one or two boys to head off and play golf, go fishing or go shopping while allowing the other one or two to opt out! For us and our children, it is all about trust and connection. We have had an au pair for the past three months and it has been fantastic. We are seeking someone who is kind, curious and fun! We have a low demand parenting approach so anybody working with us needs to be open minded, non-judgemental and willing to learn. This person needs to be responsible, trustworthy and have a genuine love for children. Preferably a non smoker. Full clean drivers license required. Initially we intend to start with a couple of afternoons a week, but we have a very interesting proposal for the right person!!! We are building an extension onto our home: it will accommodate one person only. For the right person, we would consider providing a reduced rent in exchange for time worked in our home. The priority is our children, however it will also be required to help keep the house organised, tidy and prepare snacks and meals for the children at times: And maybe the occassional walk for our treasured dog Rolo! So comfort with dogs is essential (although Rolo wins everyone over!) PLEASE only reach out if you meet the above criteria. We can be flexible within the above criteria but require contact from realistic candidates only. People from all cultures and nationalities are welcome to apply, but a very good standard of English is essential for effective communication with the boys. Rate negoitable. Anyone who would consider a full cleaning position in addition to child minding could also be negotiated!
