After-School Childminder / Nanny Wanted – Churchtown, Dublin We are a warm, relaxed and welcoming family based in Churchtown looking for an experienced, caring and reliable childminder to join our family on a permanent, year-round basis. The role is caring for our lovely 9-year-old daughter, who is kind, independent, has a great sense of humour and is a pleasure to spend time with. Hours * Monday to Thursday: 2.00 pm – 7.00 pm * Friday: 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm The role includes: * Collecting our daughter from school (walking distance from our home and on a bus route) * Bringing her to and from after-school activities (typically 3–4 afternoons per week during term time) * Preparing healthy afternoon snacks and cooking a simple evening meal * Helping with homework if needed * Spending time with her through play, reading, crafts or other age-appropriate activities * Ensuring she is happy, safe and well cared for until we finish work Housekeeping is not required, although light household help would be appreciated if you are happy to do it. We’re looking for someone who is: * Experienced in childcare * Warm, kind and dependable * Fluent in English * A non-smoker * Garda vetted (or willing to obtain Garda Vetting) * First Aid trained (or willing to undertake training) A driving licence is not essential, as school collection is within walking distance and on a bus route, but it would be an advantage.
