Full-Time Nanny / Childcarer – Family Home in the Countryside We are a professional couple looking for a warm, caring, reliable and experienced full-time nanny to join our family and help care for our three lovely children – two boys aged 5 and 3, and our little girl, who will turn one in summer 2027. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with children, is organised and proactive, and would enjoy becoming a valued part of our family and home. The job will officially start in March / April 2027 with some part-time work in advance of that. Our home is based in the countryside, where the children have plenty of space to play and enjoy family life. The role will be primarily based in our home, with responsibility for caring for our baby girl throughout the day, as well as collecting our two boys from primary school and preschool (from two separate locations) and bringing them home for the afternoon. Both parents work professionally, with a combination of working from home a few days a week and working primarily from the city centre. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently and can take ownership of the day-to-day running of the home while we are away. The role and responsibilities will include: Providing loving, attentive and stimulating care for our three children. Caring for our baby girl at home throughout the day, including feeding, naps, playtime and developmental activities. Collecting our two boys from school and preschool and bringing them home safely. Organising fun, age-appropriate activities and spending quality time with the children. Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children and family. General housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and keeping the home organised and tidy. Taking initiative and helping ensure the household runs smoothly day to day. About you: We would love to find someone who is: Warm, kind, patient and genuinely passionate about caring for children. Experienced in nannying or childcare, particularly with babies and young children. Mature, trustworthy, reliable, punctual and well organised. Proactive and happy to take responsibility for managing the home as well as the childcare. Comfortable working independently and becoming part of our family routine. A confident driver with their own transport, comfortable driving on country roads. A current First Aid certificate, Garda Vetting and relevant childcare qualifications would be highly regarded. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am–6.00pm. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. Above all, we are hoping to find someone who will genuinely enjoy spending time with our children, bring warmth and positivity into our home, and become someone we can build a trusting and happy working relationship with.
