Afternoon Nanny / Childminder – Greystones We are a busy family looking for a warm, caring and experienced nanny or childminder to look after our three daughters, aged 10, 9 and 4 afterschool. We are seeking someone who enjoys spending time with children and is responsible, reliable, trustworthy and punctual. Previous experience in nannying, childcare, au pair work or babysitting is essential. Hours and collections The role is a minimum of three days per week, ideally five days from 14:40 to 18:00 with flexibility around school holidays. You will collect our two daughters from primary school at 14:40 and our youngest daughter from pre-school locally at 16:30. Occasional evening or weekend babysitting may also be available by agreement and will be paid separately. Responsibilities: Collecting the children safely from school and pre-school. Providing attentive care in a warm, safe and supportive environment. Organising age-appropriate activities and play. Overseeing homework as needed. Preparing snacks and light meals for the children. Carrying out light housekeeping related to the children. Requirements: Relevant experience caring for children, ideally with references. A current First Aid certificate and Garda vetting. A valid driving licence. A childcare qualification would be an advantage. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker.
