We’re a friendly family in Dalkey looking for a warm, reliable and proactive housekeeper/nanny to help us on weekdays from 11am. The first part of the day would involve household tasks such as general tidying and organisation, laundry, emptying and loading the dishwasher, wiping kitchen surfaces, changing bed linen, taking out bins and cleaning the bathroom. Hoovering and mopping aren’t required, as we have a robot vacuum. At 1pm, you would collect our almost-four-year-old from crèche, which is a 10-minute walk from our home. Afternoons would involve taking him to the playground or another local activity when the weather is good, or relaxing and playing with him at home. We also have an almost-one-year-old, although the regular daytime care is primarily for our older child. Solid experience in both childcare and housekeeping is essential, along with references. A car isn’t required, but would be an advantage for added flexibility. We would also love someone who may occasionally be available for evening babysitting.
