We are looking for a kind, reliable and experienced nanny / mother’s helper to help care for our 2 months old baby for around 2-4 hours each weekday. The hours can be flexible from day to day, so this may suit someone looking for regular part-time work without a fixed daily schedule. We would agree the timing in advance depending on availability and our needs. One or both parents will be at home. Our baby is currently breastfed and feeds quite frequently, so we are mainly looking for someone who can take over her care between feeds and give us a little breathing space during the day. Typical tasks would include: - Holding, soothing and playing with the baby - Nappy changes - Taking her for a walk - Helping with naps and gently encouraging more consistent use of her crib - Helping us gradually reintroduce bottle feeding - General baby care while a parent works, rests or gets things done at home As everyone becomes comfortable with the arrangement, we would also like the option of occasionally leaving the baby with you for a short period while we go out for an appointment or similar. Experience caring for young babies is very important to us. We would ideally like someone with good references, Garda vetting and infant first-aid/CPR training. This would be a regular weekday arrangement, approximately 10 hours per week in total, with flexibility around the exact daily times.
