Part-Time Family Assistant / Childcare – Mount Merrion We are looking for a warm, caring, reliable and trustworthy person who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children to join our family and help with our two boys, aged 3 and 5, in the afternoons / early evenings in our home. The role would ideally be Monday to Thursday (possibly Friday and is open to discussion), approximately 4pm–7pm, although the exact hours can be discussed. This could suit someone looking for regular part-time work. The ideal person will be responsible, organised and proactive, with previous experience in a similar childcare or family assistant role. They will be happy to help with both childcare and light household duties and become a trusted and valued part of our family’s routine. The role would involve: Childcare: - Collecting the boys from school/creche and bringing them home - Playing with them and keeping them happily occupied - Helping with homework as needed - Supporting their evening routines - Helping with meal preparation for the family Light household help: - Light cleaning and tidying of family and children’s areas - Keeping the boys’ bedrooms and play areas organised - Children’s laundry, including washing, drying, folding and putting away - General light household tasks to help keep the family home running smoothly Essential requirements: Full, clean driving licence – ESSENTIAL Own car – ESSENTIAL Excellent references – ESSENTIAL Previous experience in a similar childcare or family assistant role would be an advantage A willingness to help with both childcare and light household duties Details: Location: Mount Merrion Hours: Monday–Thursday (possibly Friday), approximately 4pm–7pm Children: Two boys, aged 3 and 5 Rate: depending on experience Own car: ESSENTIAL Full driving licence: ESSENTIAL References: ESSENTIAL This is primarily a childcare and family-support role, with light household duties included.
