We’re looking for a nanny for our sweet little boy, who will be turning 1 in January 2027. We’re hoping to find someone kind, patient, and gentle who really loves spending time with little ones. We follow a responsive, attachment-focused parenting style and are drawn to Montessori-inspired approaches with lots of connection. The practical bits: • Full-time: 11 January – 21 April 2027 • After April: part-time/ad-hoc hours • First-aid certification is non-negotiable. If you’re the right person for us but aren’t currently certified, we’re happy to pay for your first-aid training. • A driving licence isn’t necessary, but you’ll need to be able to reliably get to and from our home in Five Oaks Village. • This could be particularly suited to a student with a passion for children (e.g. studying teaching, childcare, early childhood education etc.) who has some flexibility around their studies. We’d really love someone who becomes a familiar, trusted person in our son’s life and builds a genuine relationship with him. Although the official start date is in January, we’d love to find the right person beforehand and gradually get to know one another through some casual babysitting hours. This would also give our little guy the chance to get comfortable with you before you start full-time. A little about our working setup: I’ll be working full-time, 9–5, but my workplace is only about 2 minutes from home. My husband works approximately 50% from home and 50% in Dublin, so there will usually be one of us relatively close by. We’ll draw up a contract beforehand so that everyone is clear on expectations and responsibilities, but the main responsibility will simply be providing loving, attentive care to our son.
