We are looking for a carer for our mother who is in the early stages of Dementia. She lives together with our father in Malahide. The care required is not intensive as my mother is still capable of looking after herself but she may forget appointments and potentially get confused on the way home from shops etc. Help with general household chores/food preparation is expected also. Accommodation is provided in a separate studio flat at the property. We prefer if the carer lives in at least part time but it’s not essential. Initially care is only required maybe a half day about 3/4/5 days per week but will probably increase as demands change. So the carer could have another part time job. This will allow our dad to have more time for himself. Car is provided for qualified drivers.
