We are looking for a reliable, caring and experienced childminder/after-school carer to collect our daughter from St Patrick’s National School, Dublin 15, and care for her Monday–Friday during the school term. Hours: Monday–Friday, approximately 1:10pm–5:30pm Location: Dublin 15 Start date: September 2026 Our daughter will need to be collected from school at 1:10pm and looked after until approximately 5:30pm. We are looking for someone who: * Has professional childcare experience and is confident caring for young children * Ideally has a recognised childcare qualification and/or relevant childcare training * Has experience working with school-aged children * Is warm, patient, responsible and genuinely enjoys working with children * Is reliable and able to commit to the hours Monday–Friday * Has excellent references * Is Garda vetted or willing to complete Garda vetting * Has paediatric first-aid training (or is willing to obtain it) * Ideally has experience with after-school care The role would involve collecting our daughter from school, bringing her home, giving her a snack/meal, helping with homework/activities and generally keeping her happy and occupied until we finish work. We are looking for someone who could become a long-term, trusted part of our childcare routine, rather than occasional babysitting.
