We are a busy family from Malahide, juggling working full time Monday to Thursday in the city centre with school runs, sports practices and homework for our 2 kids age 8, and 12. We are looking for a childminder for a short term period: 4 weeks between Monday the 14th of September to Thursday the 8th of October, whilst our permanent child minder is on leave. The successful person will be a caring, responsible and experienced childcarer. Ideally, you will have at least 2-5 years experience in nannying, child care, au pair or babysitting work. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. You will be required to work afternoons only, from 2pm to 6.30pm Monday to Thursday. We are a non-smoking household and require a non-smoker. Your responsibilities will include: Pick-up our younger child from a local school (20 minutes walk from the house) and returning home Ensuring homework is done Light meal preparation (only for the kids) The ages of the kids mean that they are very easy to look after. You will need Garda Vetting, and a driver’s licence. A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded.
