Nanny wanted – Ballincollig 💛 Hi! We’re a family of four moving from Dublin to Ballincollig this summer and are hoping to find a kind, caring and reliable nanny for our two children, Maya (4) and Finn (7), who will both be attending Gaelscoil Uí Riordáin. We’re looking for someone to start in late August, collecting Maya from school at 1:50pm and Finn at 2:50pm, and minding them in our home until 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The week would also involve some regular drop-offs and collections from after-school activities. A little about our two 😊 Maya is creative, caring, determined and very sure of her own mind! Finn is curious, chatty and an incredibly fast learner. He is gifted and autistic (Level 1), and while he manages really well day to day, he can sometimes find transitions, unexpected changes or things that feel unfair a little tricky. Experience with autistic or neurodivergent children would be a lovely plus, but what matters most to us is finding someone patient, understanding and caring, who will take the time to get to know both children and build a genuine relationship with them. Both Ger and I work full time, although we work from home most days and are both in busy roles. If you were also happy to prepare the children’s evening snack and help with a little light housework while they’re occupied, that would be a great bonus.
