Hi everyone! We’re looking for a kind, trustworthy and experienced part-time nanny to care for our 2.5-year-old daughter. Location: Ballsbridge / Merrion Road Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00–5:00 pm We’re ideally looking for someone who: • Is Garda-vetted and legally entitled to work in Ireland • Holds a valid paediatric first-aid certificate • Has strong professional experience with toddlers, ideally 5–7+ years • Can provide reliable references from previous families • Speaks fluent English • Has experience with the UK, Irish and EU families • Is warm, patient, cheerful, energetic and dependable • Is punctual, responsible and a non-smoker • Genuinely enjoys spending time with young children • Can plan age-appropriate games, reading, crafts and outdoor activities • Uses a calm, gentle and positive approach with toddlers A qualification in childcare, early-years education, Montessori, pedagogy or a related field would be a strong advantage, although it is not essential. The role may include preparing simple meals or snacks for our daughter, organising activities, helping with her afternoon routine, tidying her toys and play areas, and taking her to nearby playgrounds, libraries or activities. Childcare will always be the main priority, but occasional light household help or general tidying would also be appreciated when time allows. We are starting interviews from today and aim to make a decision within this week. Interviews will take place after 4:00 pm everyday this week.
