Hi there, We're a family of five with two working parents - mum (Cathy) due to return to work part-time in September after mat leave and Dad (Pat) working full time - we're looking for some help! We have a busy but fun home with 3 kids - Páidí 6, Nell 4, and baby Joe will be 1 in October. And two doggies! We have had a number of aupairs over the years and our current au pair is leaving in October. We will miss her a lot. Our older kids were in crèche and Montessori but we would love to be able to mind Joe at home if possible at all, so we think that a nanny might work even better for us if someone local ish might be able to help us out! Main tasks would be to help drop kids to school/creche in the morning and then collect in the afternoon, and then play with them for a few hours until we get home from work. Also then, to mind baby Joe during the day for the days that Cathy will be working (probably 2 or 3 days a week). Ideally some help with dinner prep, the dishwasher, cleaning up or putting away some kids clothes would be a bonus, but minding the kiddos is the priority! Our kids are outgoing and fun. They eat well and love being at home - imaginative play, Lego, trampoline, digging in the garden, anything to do with the water hose :) Maybe it might suit a mum with kids who are older to earn some money during the day when they're in secondary school? We're somewhat flexible with days and times as we can move around work schedules a bit, but would hope to keep the same every week once we get settled. We live at the end of a lovely quiet lane near Killorglin, not far from the beach. Happy to have a chat with anyone who might be interested. Thanks for taking the time to read!
