*English Literacy & Irish Culture Tutor for 7 primary school students aged 11y. (3-week Contract) -45euro+ per hour (negotiable depending on the experience) 4th August - 20th August Tuesdays & Thursdays (6 sessions in total) 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm (2.5 hours per session) The tutor will guide students in improving their English through reading, writing, and discussion in a relaxed library environment. *Responsibilities : -Supporting students with independent reading -Encouraging discussion about books and articles -Providing feedback on students' journals -Helping students develop creative and academic writing skills -Introducing aspects of Irish culture, traditions, history, and everyday life through conversation and short activities -Creating a welcoming and encouraging learning atmosphere. *Ideal candidates: -Native English speaker or equivalent proficiency -Experienced teaching English, literacy, creative writing. -Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic -Familiar with Irish culture and able to share it in an engaging way -Experience with international students is an advantage -Teaching qualification or relevant degree is desirable If you are passionate about helping young learners develop confidence in English while introducing them to Irish culture, we'd love to hear from you.
