Temporary support carer, Ballinskellings, for [removed] days. We are looking for a kind, reliable and experienced companion / home support carer for our mother for 7/10 days while she recovers from a short illness. Until last week, she was mobile, independent, strong, driving her own car - and values her independence. She doesn't require nursing care. We are simply looking for someone to provide reassurance and practical support while she regains her strength. The role would include: Preparing simple meals, teas and snacks Encouraging her to eat, drink and rest Light housekeeping Simply being present to provide reassurance Accommodation will be provided, either in the house, or separately in a nearby holiday home. Previous elderly care experience and references preferred. And we would hope for someone to start as soon as possible. if you think you would be a good fit, please tell us a little about your experience, your availability and provide references if you can.
