Part-Time Carer Needed for Elderly Gentleman (25–30 Hours/Week) We are looking for a kind, reliable, and compassionate carer to assist Francis Lowe, an 80-year-old gentleman, in his home. Francis requires support 7 days a week, generally between 1:00pm and 5:00pm, although the exact hours and days are somewhat flexible and open to discussion for the right person. We are ideally seeking someone who can provide 25–30 hours of care per week. About Francis Francis is a pleasant and gentle gentleman who enjoys company and benefits from calm, patient support with daily mobility and personal care needs. Role Responsibilities * Assisting Francis with mobility around the home * Helping him transfer safely from the couch to a wheelchair * Supporting him with trips to and from the bathroom * Providing general companionship and supervision * Offering light assistance with comfort and day-to-day needs Mobility Needs Francis has limited mobility. He can take a small number of steps with assistance but primarily requires help with transfers and moving safely between seating, wheelchair, and bathroom. Ideal Candidate * Experience in elderly care, disability support, or home care preferred * Patient, dependable, and physically able to assist with transfers * Manual handling experience is a strong advantage * Friendly and compassionate nature We are looking for someone who will provide not just practical assistance, but also kindness, dignity, and companionship.
