** Looking for a Babysitter/Childminder for Our 9 Month Old ** Hi everyone! We’re looking for a lovely babysitter/childminder to help out with our 9 month old boy a couple of times a week, who ideally could be available at short notice from time to time. We're first time parents and my husband works long hours, so I'm home with our little boy most of the time. We had to move away from our family and friends shortly after he was born, so we don't really have a village around us, and I'm finding that I could do with a bit of extra support. I'm not looking for someone to take him out or mind him while I'm away, I'll be at home the whole time. I'd just love someone to come and play with him, read to him, keep him entertained and happy for a few hours while I catch up on the endless jobs that seem impossible to get done with a baby attached to me 😂 You wouldn't be expected to do housework (unless that's something you offer yourself) I just really need an extra pair of hands to keep him happy while I try to keep on top of everything! It would usually be around 2–3 hours at a time, roughly twice a week, although the days and times would need to be flexible. It would be great if you had experience with babies and were comfortable caring for an active, curious little worm who is trying to put absolutely everything in his mouth at the moment! Ideally, you would have to be * Kind, patient, trustworthy and energetic * Experienced with babies and young children * Punctual, with your own transportation * Garda vetted and First Aid trained (or willing to provide references) * Comfortable with a parent being at home while you're here Our little boy is great fun, he’s busy, very curious, loves babbling, exploring and making everyone laugh.
