We are a professional couple looking for a caring, responsible and experienced babysitter to look after our 1 year old daughter from time to time. Initially it would be after bedtime (7:30pm) only, for 2-3 hours, Friday or Saturday - she is a good sleeper so mostly all you would need to do is sit in our living room and watch TV! If she wakes up she will need comforting, nappy change, a bottle, and be put back to bed. We would ask you to come to the house a few times first (paid, of course) to meet our daughter so you can get to know each other, so she isn't waking up to a random person. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. We also have two medium sized dogs, one of whom gets very excited when new people come into the house but will chill out when he has gotten used to you - both are super affectionate and love nothing more than cuddles on the couch. Your main responsibility is childcare, but we would also ask you to let the dogs out to do their business in the garden as required. We would also ask you to clean up after yourself, for example putting your cups/glasses etc. in the dishwasher. You will need a current First Aid certificate, Garda Vetting, and a driver’s licence. A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded.
