We are an American family spending the summer in Dublin and are looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced nanny to care for our two children — a 5-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl — from June through mid-August. We will be based in Rathgar Dublin 6, and the position will typically be Monday–Friday from 10am–4pm, with occasional evening or weekend babysitting available if desired (paid separately). We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in nannying, childcare, au pair, preschool, or babysitting work. We would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and is warm, reliable, punctual, active, and engaging. Responsibilities include: - Planning fun and age-appropriate activities such as crafts, reading, trips to the park, zoo, and library - Taking the children to local lessons and summer camps - Preparing simple snacks/lunches for the children - Light child-related tidying and housekeeping Our children are curious, energetic, and love outdoor activities, books, and imaginative play. We are a respectful, non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. We would love to speak with at least two families you have previously worked with. A Childcare qualification or preschool experience would be highly valued. Compensation: €15-22/hour depending on experience.
