We are looking for a kind, caring live-in carer for my 83 year old Dad. Plenty of patience required, as he has recently lost his wife recently and is quite confused especially in the evening. This is a live-in position on outskirts of Wexford town. It is walking distance to town & all ammenities. My Dad has advanced dementia and walks on a walker. His mobility is comprised and he needs assistance to get up. He has a super pubic urinary catheder. Beautiful accommodation, food, bills & Internet included. The role is companionship, giving medicines from blister pack, light house duties, washing up etc, meal preparation. We have a home help coming in 3 times daily to help & dementia care hour cover from HSE. 3 days per week. This role is live in carer 5 or 6 days a week, staying overnight as reassurance & safety required. We are a flexible kind family who really need the right fit for our Dad. Contact me if interested.
