PRIVATE HOUSEHOLD · POSITION AVAILABLE In-House Manager A rare role for someone who leads with initiative and takes genuine pride in a home well run. We are a busy family seeking a capable, highly organised in-house manager to bring structure, calm, and forward-thinking to our daily life. This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do - we are looking for a person who walks into a room, reads what's needed, and gets on with it. RESPONSIBILITIES Household cleaning and upkeep to a consistent standard Meal planning, cooking, and kitchen management Organisation of home systems, supplies, and schedules Childcare cover on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings Managing and completing household projects, large and small Receiving deliveries, running errands, and liaising with tradespeople Maintaining storage, decluttering, and overseeing seasonal tasks Occasional travel with the family throughout the year SCHEDULE Core weekday hours — To be agreed, household management focus Thursday evenings — Childcare cover required Saturday mornings — Childcare cover required Travel — Flexibility to accompany family periodically WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 01 — A natural self-starter who anticipates needs rather than waiting for direction — proactive, not reactive. 02 — Physically active and at ease on their feet; comfortable lifting, moving, and tackling physical tasks alongside the organisational. 03 — Methodical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage several priorities at once without losing sight of the whole. 04 — Warm and trustworthy around children, with a calm and consistent manner. 05 — A confident cook — practical, nourishing meals rather than elaborate showpieces, though flair is always welcome. 06 — Adaptable and content when plans shift — this household moves, and we need someone who moves with it. 07 — Garda Vetted, or willing to undergo Garda Vetting prior to commencement — this is a requirement given the childcare element of the role. COMPENSATION To be agreed dependent on experience. Travel and expenses covered where applicable. Garda Vetting required. This is a position of real trust and genuine responsibility within our home.
