We are a friendly family based in Eden Park, Glasthule looking for an experienced, warm and reliable nanny/childminder to help care for our two girls (aged 4 and 8) while one parent is traveling. The role: A second parent will be working from home, so this is a supportive rather than sole-charge position. One or girls will be attending summer camps during the day, so the primary need is afternoon cover and help with drop off / pickups, activities and general childcare. Flexibility around hours is important as needs may vary day to day. What we're looking for: Experience with young children, particularly preschool age Warm, patient and fun personality Driver preferred (to help with camp pickups in the local area) Garda vetted essential First aid certification an advantage What we offer: Competitive daily/weekly rate Lovely location — walking distance to Sandycove, Dún Laoghaire and the seafront Supportive home environment Dates: Wednesday July 2nd to Monday July 14th, 2026, potentially extended through the last two weeks of July.
